The weather is generally fine over southern China.

At 3 p.m., Typhoon Fung-wong was centred about 380
kilometres east of Gaoxiong. It is forecast to move
west-northwest at about 16 kilometres per hour towards
Taiwan.

Weather forecast for this afternoon and tonight

Mainly fine and very hot apart from isolated heavy showers
and squally thunderstorms. Light to moderate westerly winds.

Outlook : Continuing very hot tomorrow. Cloudy with showers
in the following couple of days.

southeastern coast of China in the next couple of days.
